Designed to comply with AR 670-1 guidelines, the Defense provides comfort and ingenuity to active military personnel. The boot innovation beings with an aggressive, elite Vibram® outsole with a PU Midsole that provides excellent traction and support. The Ortholite® insole cushions the foot, and can be removed and washed to mitigate odor. The upper, made with 1000 denier padded DWR nylon, adds strength and durability without weight. Protection extends to the top of the boot, where a fully gusseted and waterproof tongue repels moisture and debris. The NATO quick lace system expedites the lacing process and the innovative Lycra® lace pocket storage systems keeps laces out of the way.
